Adopt-A-Trail at Uwharrie
The club has signed up for the Adopt-A-Trail program in the Uwharrie National Forest. There is no fee to adopt the trail but it will require our club members to do some work on the trail. In short, we will need to perform trail maintenance at least 4 times during the year. Maintenance could be as simple as picking up litter or repairing fences and bridges. The trail we have adopted is Rocky Mountain Loop.
If you are interested in participating, keep tabs on our forum and on our Facebook page. If you decide that you want to volunteer during one of the work days, you will be able to camp for free and get a free trail pass So far ALL the clubs have made a difference and want to keep these trails open for all to enjoy.
Upcoming Trips and Events
To see a list of upcoming events, check out the Latest Events listing on the left or check out our Events Calendar on Facebook.
If there are not any events listed, post a message on the message board and/or on our Facebook page - someone may want to join you!
If you know of an event (or hosting an event) and would like your event to show up on our list, go to our Facebook page and create a new event. Once posted on Facebook, the event will automatically appear in our list.
Have a Question?
For those that are new to the area and/or club, we have put together a Frequently Asked Questions list that will hopefully answer most of your questions.
If not, no problem. Just send any questions and/or comments using our Contact Us page and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
Do remember that the club is run entirely by volunteers who have jobs, families etc but we do try to respond to every question the same day.
