Welcome to Carolina Rover Owners Club - CROC!

We are here, more than ever, to have responsible fun and assist members with getting the most out of their Land Rover. We cannot do this unless we hear from you. Please use the message board (you must register first) and/or the Feedback link. Join the club, your adventure begins here.

It's that time once again - time to welcome the coming of spring to the forested, rolling hills of North Carolina's Piedmont. Come join us in the beautiful Uwharrie National Forest. The Uwharrie Safari is a family friendly and laid back event that combines off road driving in the National Forest with the camaraderie that we all enjoy as we drive the worlds best 4x4xFar!
For more information about this event, just check out the Uwharrie Safari section (select Uwharrie Safari from the top menu). It will give you all the information about the event, how to register, dates, and a whole lot more. For those new to the event, make sure you check out the Frequently Asked Questions section. This year the charity we will be supporting is The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Hope to see you there!
The club has signed up for the Adopt-A-Trail program in the Uwharrie National Forest. There is no fee to adopt the trail but it will require our club members to do some work on the trail. In short, we will need to perform trail maintenance at least 4 times during the year. Maintenance could be as simple as picking up litter or repairing fences and bridges. The trail we have adopted is Rocky Mountain Loop. If you are interested in participating, just let us know. If you decide that you want to volunteer, you will be able to camp for free and get a free trail pass. We also have one major work day during the winter months (when the trails are closed). So far we have made a difference and want to keep these trails open for all to enjoy.
A short list of upcoming events is listed under the menu with the title of Upcoming Events (can only be seen if logged in). For a more complete listing, visit the Events Calendar (this list all past and future events)
If you want to get out and ride and there are no trips posted, please post on the message board - somebody may want to join you!
Have an event that you want posted on our calendar? Just send us a quick note and we will get it posted so everyone will know about it.
