Write-ups and listing on various areas to go off-roading, national parks, and other areas of interest for our club members.  We have included maps on how to get there.  Some of these areas have been closed but have been left on the list in case they re-open in the future.  If you know of any area that is not listed, PLEASE contact us so we can add it to the list.

Anderson Creek / Amicalola Falls OHV (GA)

The Friends of Anderson Creek were unable to get it back open.  This OHV area is located arouund Dahlonega, GA.

Badin Lake Group Campground (NC)

Badin Lake Group Camp is open year-round, and is an excellent facility for groups of up to 50 people per campsite (there are 3 campsites).

Beasley Knob OHV (GA)

Beasley Knob OHV Area is located a few miles east of Blairsville, Georgia in the Chattahoochee National Forest.

Black Mountain OHV Park (KY)

In the wake of the coal mining and timbering industries, Harlan County has an abundance of abandoned mountainous roads and trails we have formed into an off-roader's paradise near Harlan, KY.

Brown Mountain OHV Area (NC)

This popular trail system offers 34 miles of well-marked and maintained OHV and single-track trails ranging from easy to difficult located in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina near Collettsville, NC.  Only a small portion of the 34 mile trail system is open for 4WD vehicles.

Callalantee OHV Park & Campground

Callalantee ATV and Campground is a popular attraction among ATV, MX, and 4WD because of its varying degrees of difficulty and the beautiful scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Tennessee.

Caney Fork Trail Area (NC)

Caney Fork is an are near Sylva, NC (around Ashville) that has a few really nice trails and an fantastic spot for camping on the top of the knob.

Carolina Backwoods (SC)

Carolina Backwoods is a unique ATV,4X4,OFF ROAD Fun Park, all skill levels. Located near Myrtle Beach S.C. on the North and South Carolina state line, Ash, North Carolina.

Coal Creek OHV Area (TN)

The Coal Creek OHV Area (also called Windrock) is 72,000 acres of off road fun, located in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Hundreds of off-roaders can be found every weekend enjoying our trails. The trails are open to everyone and just about any type of vehicle.  There are over 160 miles of trails.

Devils Playground (NC)

I do not know a lot about this place but it is close to where I live.  This is not a public place but is open on certian dates for people to ride near Lexington, NC.

Eldorado Outpost (NC)

Many folks who drive in the Uhwarrie National Forest have a tendancy to meet at the Eldorado Outpost.  This is just outside the OHV area so we decided to include directions directly to this store.

Golden Mountain Park (TN)

Golden Mountain OHV Park is a family oriented recreational area.  The park resides on 500 acres.  We have over 40 trails for trail riding, ATV's, Motorcycles, Jeeps, Trucks, and UTV's are welcome.  Located near Sparta, TN.

Gray Rock ORV (AL)

This is a private ORV Park and bookings are essential to gain access to the property located in Mt. Olive, AL.

Gulches ORV Park (SC)

Gulches ORV Park is a new off road vehicle park located in Laurens County, South Carolina. Located between Columbia and Greenville, we have planty of land for ATV, 4x4, off road bike and Jeep riders to rock-crawl.

Land Between the Lakes (KY/TN)

Turkey Bay has approximately 100 miles of OHV trails which cover a variety of terrain, offering something for every skill level. Flat meadows, rolling hills, and rocky plateaus await the adventuresome!  NOTE: The trails may close when it rains.

Morris Mountain ORV (AL)

The park was created from a lack of places to go wheeling.  It started as a pastime for Kris and Randy Morris and quickly grew into Morris Mountain ORV Park located in Delta, AL.

This is a private ORV Park and bookings are essential to gain access to the property located near Milledgeville, GA.

Tiger Creek (GA)

Many CROC members have been to this area.  We just found out that this trail is now officially closed.

Uwharrie National Forest OHV Area (NC)
