Want to become a member and do not know what to do? What does a membership include? We address all types of questions related to membership in the CROC club.
Does CROC have a flyer or card to hand out to prospective members?
In fact, yes we do. We actually call them Howdy Cards. They are perfect when you meet someone on the trails or in a parking lot and want to say Hi! to a fellow Land Rover owner.
There are PDF's for the front and back of the card that you can print off and hand out. If you come to a event where there will be a CROC officer, we usually have some postcards that we can give you. If you live near one of the officers, you can arrange a meeting and they can give you some.

How do I become a member?
It is very easy becoming a CROC member.
Visit the CROC Shop and purchase your membership. You can pay via Credit Card, PayPal, or send us a check. Once payment is received, we will upgrade your account (your user name - did we mention that you should also register on the site) and you will have full access to the site.

Why should I become a CROC member?
That is a really good question and one that we get quite often.
One reason is to support your local land rover club. It takes money to keep things going and every little bit helps. We still have bills to pay - they may not be much but they are still there.
Another reason is that some folks feel that they will be more involved when they paid money to become part of a club. Trail rides, trail cleanup, and the camaraderie of other fellow CROC members.
And one last reason is to help us support our local trails.
As a member, you will also get some free stuff (well not free since you did pay your dues). We have decided that new members should get CROC stuff with each membership. This may involve stickers, magazines, maps, etc in a welcome packet when they sign up. In the past, the packets have also contained a hat, flashlight, or something of use. This changes from year to year. Also, as other things become available, we will send them to our members. For instance, we wrote up an article for Land Rover Lifestyle magazine and they sent us a stack of that months magazine. We will send a copy to each of our members.
Also, when we have CROC Sponsored events, the members may get a free dinner or free camping, who knows. The more money our club has, the more we can spend on its members. The goal is to take the money and give it back to all those who support us (that is, after we pay the bills).
