Here we go, folks, a real live road rally, but one with a unique overland 4x4 twist. All registered participants will receive an instruction booklet in advance containing nothing more than a list of GPS coordinates and one question corresponding to each coordinate. Each coordinate will mark the location of a rustic sugarhouse (active maple syrup production facility usually consisting of a small wooden structure with a sap boiler contained within) located in the central Vermont region and each question can only be answered by finding the respective sugarhouse and recognizing the answer. The coordinates in the instruction book will be listed in no particular order except for the final coordinate, which coordinate will mark the evening remote campsite. The object of the event will be to plot out a course, navigate to the sugarhouses listed, answer the questions in the instruction book and, above all, make your way to camp to enjoy the awards ceremony and homemade camp dinner!
